Great room, good value. Hosts are incredibly helpful with questions and bookings for nearby activities. Property is located very close to the lakefront and to the town center -- just 2 and 4 minutes' walk away each. Rooms also quite well furnished, with a nice rustic feel on the inside. There was no air conditioning in my room, but you can easily cool the rooms by opening the well-placed windows and heat it up with the heaters in the room. WiFi was usually decent, but do note that there's a limit of 4GB per night, at least for my room. Power sockets were located at somewhat awkward locations, however -- one at the small table across from the larger bed, and one at around chest height opposite the sofa bed.

Superb location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was comefy. Jon and Tracy (the owners) were really friendly and obliging, as were the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend staying here, it is great value for money.I would come back again if I was in the area.

Awesome place to stay! The owners are super friendly and helpful. Our room was cute, clean and cosy with nice views. They're really close to the picturesque Lake Te Anau.

Clean and spacious room! Own bathroom and even have laundry facility. Stayed in the studio apartment and have a mini kitchen to myself. Best of all, there is a heater in the room for the cold weather.

Although slightly dated interiors, everything was in working order. We had a pleasant stay. Check-in and checking out process was easy, no fuss. Full kitchen, large rooms. Suitable for families. Parking space is usually allocated right in front of your unit.

For cheap accommodation it should still be clean but it was very grubby. Blankets mouse droppings on them and laundry was filthy. Staff were lovely however.
