  Excellent craft beer. "Pontoon in a monsoon" and "Hoppy Mc hopface" are the best IPA's in NZ. My husband and I have been on both islands searching for good IPA's. The food is delicious with great veg options such as the falafel sliders and kumara tacos. The crowd is laid back and the staff has always been helpful. Not a place to be rushed. Sit back, enjoy your beer and food, and forget about it!

  Great service - fantastic food (the ribs are the best I've had, anywhere!) And lovely drinks. Service was outstanding, even though it was busy on a Sat night. We just keep coming back because it's so good!

  Great food for the money and view of the beach. Like most bars in New Zealand, don't expect full service, especially if outside. You may need to order and pay at the bar.

  Disappointing service. Waited over an hour for our meals We did bring it to the waitresses attention but, not met with much sympathy. Felt they could have done more to provide a better service especially after we complained
  
  Previous visits have been good. After tonight I wouldn't recommend Deep Creek.
