Tried food at their counter at TSB arena for Diwali 2017 event.. horrible.. its stale!! after 2 bites whole plate went straight into dustbin in front of them & they just looked other way.
I am surprised at 4+ avg rating for them here. I would never ever touch food from Daawat.

Just had takeaway. Poor to say the least, hardly any meat for what it cost

Well I have to say I loved their menu, and yes, a big YES, "their Butter Chicken is best in town", and their Chicken Lavabdar is my all time favourite dish..

I have used their catering Services on couple of occasions and my guests have really liked it very much, we can't forget their moist and juicy Tandoori chicken, umm.. yummy The catering was delivered on time, fresh, warm, and tasty. Keep it up Raj, nice service, and well done Chefs.. Cannot wait to visit you again. :)

Disappointing to say the least. We got takeaways on the way home from a long days physical work. Starrrrving, which usually makes any food taste great.
Arrive home 5 mins later and dish out the food. It's never a good start when the rice is wet, gluggy and has to be encouraged and then forced to leave the container. Opened the 2 curries and both were oily and seemingly quite greasy. Put the lid back on and gave them a gentle shake which did reduce the slick somewhat.
Got down to eating and to be fair, whilst it wasn't awful, it was not even on a par with those $10 curry and naan deals from a food court. Certainly wouldn't pay $18 per dish here again. Went to the garlic naan and again was less than impressed. Over thick and not well cooked it reminded me of one of my fathers attempts at a pancake when I was a child. The only redeeming feature were the largish portions of chicken and lamb in our meals.
I've experienced many Indian takeaways and this would rank in the lower 10%. Only been here once however, so it may just have been an off day.

Raj is a great host. Always makes us feel welcome. The tandoori chicken is amazing and the bread oven is the best. Our go to Indian.

Good food! Very well done, place was a bit smokey and could not dance to the music.
