The reception lady works for the morning shift has a very stinking attitude, she just changed my room without telling me before. And I highly recommend her to make a recording of hostel rules, then there will be no need to speak like a robot when people arrive at the hostel, she just need to play the recording with that sour look on her face.

Rooms/baths/kitchen were basic but clean, everything you need. Common areas with movies, hot tub, pool table, and bar. Great stay!

We stayed in a private room with one bunk bed. Was clean and roomy along with a small desk and two chairs. Shared bathroom down the hall was okay, not too dirty, but not amazing either. But this is a hostel, so that's what you get! We would stay here again.

Best place in rotorua! Have stayed there in a couple room for about two nights with my partner. Very clean and the saff was just lovely! I highly recommend this place!!!

Older female staff member was really rude on several occasions. They charge a 3% charge for all transactions on card, can be a real pain especially if you were arriving early and didn't have cash on you. Also charge another 3% on top of that for online bookings. Bathrooms weren't very clean. Definitely doesn't give off the vibe that they give a crap about your stay.

The cleanest and coolest hostel you'll find in Rotorua. Wifi is the best!! Great location, just 2 mins walk to a big supermarket (Pak n Save), right in the center of Rotorua. Friday nights are BBQ nights! They give free nz sausages and salad for free and free puncakes on Sunday morning! There are free activities everyday, the vibe is really cool throughout the hostel and staff.

Centrally located hostel with daily free activities and competitions. Excellent facilities including hot showers, kitchens, spa pool and bbq. All areas were very clean and well decorated.
Be aware they usually have loud music playing until around 11pm most nights, and even later at weekends. In addition, rooms next to the bathrooms will hear the electric hand-dryers going all the time.
Most of the staff are friendly and fun however there is one person who we found to be rude and unhelpful.response / report this review -

Great staff. Well structured schedule for people staying to interact. BBQ night, pool competition, etc. Very good quality for the price and one of the cleaner hostiles I have stayed in. Kitchen is cleaned twice a day by the staff.
