Good view of the surrounding hills. Parking very tight. Lots of steps to get to your room especially if you are at the very very top. The bed up against the wall is a pain for the person against it. Not as clean as I would have hoped with some mould in the bathroom. The wi-fi was spotty.

DONT STAY HERE!!!!
mould on the ceiling, smelt like curry everywhere, staff very unfriendly. Didn''t even stay the night because it was so bad and he wouldn't refund us after simply just seeing the room.response / report this review -

Serviced daily - even turned on heater and electric blankets for us so the room was warm after a cold day out

Dated rooms with some furnishing needing repair
Single glazed windows - heat and noise issues
Steep steps and drive way which can become very slippery under foot when icy. Steps especially as ice melts during the day and forms puddles that freeze of an evening.

Not recommend for the price you pay, Wi-Fi hardly worked and the TV in bedroom didn't work, when we asked for assistance they just told us to sort it out ourselves. Staff were not friendly. Stained duvet cover.

Colonial Village is a really quaint set of Character Accommodations only a quick 20 minute walk from town. It has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains, and free parking. The free WiFi was a bit spotty in some areas, but seemed to work fine for the majority of the time. We really enjoyed the kitchenette facilities that allowed us to make a lot of our own meals. (The knife could definitely use a sharpener however). We enjoyed the cute style of the room, and some of the updated features in the bathroom. However, whoever designed the bathroom should be shot, as the shower area is under the sloped side of the roof. :p One final constructive criticism; given the age of the buildings and the proximity to the main roadfor weather, noise, and electricity usage, I would recommend insulating. It can easily be done without ruining the look and feel, and would definitely help keep your costs down and customers happy in the long run.
Would recommend this place as we had a nice stay; and Anna from the front desk was really friendly, helpful, fun and professional.response / report this review
