  Right by the sea watch the tide come in then when it's out walk the sand flats. Camp is old but still has great facilities. Lots of room 30 secondsywalk to cafe's restaurants pub shops. Collingwood is a lovely weekend town with fabulous locals. Not to be missed

  No picnic table at our campsite and we could smell the toilets. Otherwise, the campground is in a nice location with lots of shady trees. $5 for Internet access.

  Wow. That is all I have say about this place. We had planned much of our holiday on staying here, looking forward to seeing Golden Bay. Upon our arrival we were eager to find the motor park and then a place for lunch. We pulled in and turned around to go find lunch, fully planning to return later to stay. With that the lady from the office chased our vehicle down screaming. And in less than 2 sentences was already screaming profanity at my wife and I about some non-sense about "invading her private property." Keep in mind we were in a bright green Jucy camper van and quite obviously tourists that were new to the area and wanting to spend money. Shocked at this lady's attitude and trying to explain ourselves, she leaned in our van and screamed "Don't talk sh_t!" to my wife. Still in shock, I let her know we wouldn't be staying here to which she replied that would be alright with her.
  
  Obviously we didn't stay here and found better accommodations back down the coast. If you're interested in being screamed at and staying with the rudest Kiwi in the South Island, stay here, otherwise steer clear of this dump and this horrible person. Apparently her Motor Camp is just for show or maybe reserved for non-tourists as she is very concerned with tourists visiting her "private property."

  Very friendly and welcoming staff and quiet and cosy. Facilities are good and they have a nice open kitchen for cooking.

  A good ol' kiwi holiday Park. Friendly staff, awesome showers. Tidy cabins.
