Pretty hard not to catch anything here! Rods, nets and chili bin provided, bait is $2 for a decent sized bag. It is pretty expensive but I guess you're not just paying for the catch it's the experience. There's a little cafe and you can get your salmon prepared in a variety of ways including a number of smoking options. We had to wait quite a bit for our fish to be prepped so if you're here when it's busy, which it wasn't when we were there, you might want to grab a beer or read your book. There's a few things to dander around and have a look at. It's pretty good for kids with a little playground. Heaps of parking. Staff were friendly enough

Good place to catch a salmon have a wine beer or coffee, while you wait for your salmon to be cooked !

What a great place to visit. Our extended family had a great day out. We caught fish and had it smoked for tea that night. Fed the eels and just had a nice time.

Great for anyone who has never caught a fish, get them smoked on site or filleted to take away. Licensed cafe with various drink and food to enjoy with or without your salmon. It has a little playground for the little ones and a animal park where you can feed Eels, Be careful how much fish you catch you have to pay by weight which can get very expensive quick , they have the current price and average weight of fish caught that day so you can work out roughly how much its going to cost.

Had lunch at Anatoki Salmon today, a treat I had been looking forward to for some time. I had a Salmon Salad which I was extremely disapointed with. The main part of the meal was lettuce a great deal of lettuce it filled the dish! Although I didnt weight the Salmon at a guess I would say 30 grams at most. It was served with a dressing that had absolutely no taste. What a shame because it's in a beautiful setting.

Great activity for all ages, however be aware that its not cheap once you start catching a few fish and want them smoked.. but great fun

We caught two samon 4.5kg and having it cooked there is so worth it yumo so good great place to go for familys the sell coffees and some other food very pricy though we going every time were in the south island it is a great place :)

Friendly staff (and eels). Good fishing (caught 3 fish totaling 5.3kg). Excellent fillet service and a light smoke. I prefer a heavier smoke, so will get it to go raw next time and smoke at home after a brine. Pre-packaged is brined and smoked longer).
