Food was good.poor service. Forgot our drinks. Didn't clear the table and ran out of items on the menu.

Always a nice place to sit and have a pint. Traditional English pub with a good selection of beers and the odd cider on tap. Can get busy at times especially with the after-work drinkers. Meals are usually great as well. Plenty of off street parking which is great.

Service was good. Ordered the seafood chowder. The chef forgot to taste it plus left out the seafood. Fortunately we weren't charged

Excellent venue and well priced meals. My only comment is that when we were last there (Fri 9/6) we had the chicken curry and the roast of the day. In both cases the gravy was so sweet, that especially with the curry it was almost like desert.

After reading a couple of negative reviews in here we went along to the Cock & Bull with open eyes. Nothing to worry about! The wait was short, about 10 minutes, the food was delicious - plenty to eat, the staff were wonderful. The price? Well I don't mind paying a little more for top quality food. Thank you Cock & Bull.

Awesome English pub style venue. At a dead end of the night and with no children at home we decided to go and try out Cock & Bull for dinner. I rang first just to see if they could accommodate us, phone was answered by a lovely British lady who let us know they were very busy with having a boxing night on the big screen and racing had finished with people choosing to head out of town for their nights entertainment, but yes she could fit us in. Fit was right as it was very packed but the atmosphere was friendly and happy and that just added to the fun evening. Food was amazing!!! Unfortunately a date stamp was found in my salad, just paper, but the manager and staff fell over themselves to correct the issue even giving us 10% off our meals!!! Wonderful service, great food, fun atmosphere!!!
