What an easy transaction! Dropped our Bailey caravan in to Caravan Connections with Amanda going through the process for us. Within a month the van was sold and the proceeds lodged in our bank. We are absolutely delighted and heartily recommend this company. Thanks again Amanda and Geoff
Very good
Have dealt with these guys on numerous occasions always helpful.
My wife and I bought a used Swift from Caravan Connection when travelling the South Island for 6 months on a holiday from the UK. We had done a lot of research prior and felt really comfortable with Mandy and Geoff. They even helped us buy a tow vehicle. Much, much cheaper than renting a motorhome as we sold both for almost the same money when we flew back home. Having 30 years of owner experience of Swift caravans in England meant I knew they were a top quality product. Mandy and Geoff were both very knowledgeable about all aspects of caravans and caravanning, but also very friendly and not pushy when showing us around. They even shared a BBQ and brew with us on our 1st night in our new home. Although unlikely to be back in NZ any time soon to buy a 2nd, would definitely recommend. Thanks again!
My daughter and her husband bought a van from Caravan Connection. After taking delivery, the caravan sat under a cover for a while waiting for summer and on its first excursion it rained, and all of the windows and the storage hatch under the bed leaked. My daughter rang but was required to take the caravan 600km from Christchurch to Palmerston and back to have a bit of sealant added. I did the job for her, all windows leaked, and discovered that the roof hatch was cracked and the stays rusted solid. Over Xmas she took the van away only to find that the fridge when on gas flared up and threatened to set the whole van on fire. An awning had been supplied but without the clips necessary to fit it to the caravan, and to make matters worse, the water pump failed. Caravan Connection were not interested and merely said it was not under warranty. We spoke to a friend who had bought a new Swift from her and had problems which she would not attend to and he swore he'd never deal with Caravan Connections again. My advice to anyone looking to buy a caravan is not to go near Caravan Connections if they seek honesty and co-operation. Though my daughter had no knowledge of my writing the above review, she has received intimidatory threats from Caravan Connection which does nothing to appease my feeling that she is a shady dealer. Everything written in the review is true and correct; Caravan Connection delivered the caravan to Christchurch and the caravan was then stored under cover for 4 months before use and the faults were discovered the first time the caravan was used.
