Lovely gardens with history and well established trees and plants. Fun playground area, ponds, rose gardens, aviary, and more. Great for a stroll any time of the day.

A cool park that offers a variety of plants. It's not huge, so you can easily see the whole thing. Nice place for a picnic or a quick stroll.

If passing through Oamaru do stop and view the Public Gardens They are beautifull. Also check out the playground for children. It is absolutely amazing what has been done with machines of bygone days.

Realy cool place. Gardens looked abit unkept probably because it was autumn when i visited. Also some cool tropical bird exhibit in the middle of the gardens

I love public gardens and this one was an unexpected gem. Cycled through it at the end of the Alps2ocean cycle trail, and have walked through too. Peaceful as!

Very nicely laid out gardens with bird enclosure. Beautiful water features and a great playground for kids perfect for a party. There us a band rotundra perfect for that perfect wedding photo.

These gardens are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Such a lovely spot for a walk or a picnic. A number of different areas, each very unique.
