Beautiful place

We visited the Blue Penguins on the 5th April but sadly we only saw 3-4. It's a fantastic place and all the staff do a wonderful job but choose when you visit. We are from the UK so didn't have that choice, at this time of the year the penguins are moulting after their busy breeding season so stay undercover. Disappointed yes but at least we have helped a little towards the conservation.

A lovely experience, we saw at least a hundred penguins on our visit. The tour from the Royal Albatross Centre was great, they gave us a talk before we left and even sung us a song in Maori tongue. Definitely worth visiting here to make sure you can see some penguins, and to help conserve them. Only problem was the huge number of people making it quite crowded and noisy, but they have only one window every evening to take people down, so this is understandable.
