The rooms are nicely cleaned but some of the furniture looks a bit out dated. Theres also extra beds and a television. Good for people who are visiting New Zealand.

worst motel i have ever stayed at ! wasnt a pleasant stay for me and my family. was very cold and and we had issues with internet, tv, shower, and the tea towel was full of pet hair! yuck the entire place was not vacuumed properly. its not worth that price

Due to cyclone cook - we have been advised not to travel - so I rung Camelia Court to cancel our one night reservation explaining reasons & safety of my family - only to be told that I would still be charged the full rate! This is supposed to be a family friendly motel. I'm sure the room will get rebooked with some stranded family that cannot travel out of Taupo. Very disappointed that camelia court value money ahead of family safety!

It is a great option if you have budget concerns and dont want to share in dorm. Basically clean, convenient, good price. Some facilities need renew or some details need to be cleaned better. Overall is good, will stay again.
