  6 of us visited 808 restaurant last Sunday for brunch. Absolutely brilliant! Definitely b going again. Luvly food, fantastic service & surroundings plus reasonably priced.

  Food was ok, staff polite when approached.however.. service was extremely poor. Also it was quite cold, two of the men in our group chose to keep their puffer jackets on as did other patrons at a table nearby. Not a busy night, after being seated for ten minutes no drinks order were taken so I went to the bar and got my own, interrupting the barman who was checking his cell phone. That should have been a BIG hint of lack of service. Also mentioned whilst getting my drink how cold it was, was told heating is on and may take awhile to warm up, this being 6.45pm on a cold evening. Still no one came to take drinks order for the rest of the table until it was time to order meals. Later, had to ask for a refill as no one came to check. Later on the childrens deserts had been 'forgotten' about so their mother had to go and ask. Won't be going back.

  Hi there went there for lunch an very poor service qn food. We all were very sick afterwards an they didn't asked to clear our plates .just took them away . They cook there food in the microwave an my dad's meal was so bad he couldn't eat it . They said they don't no how to use the microwave. We have gone for years an never been so bad . Also I won a bar tab at one of there quiz night's an I went to use this an they said it had expired when they never told me this . Also said we get a free drink but never got it . Very disappointed. An will not b going back ever again .

  REally friendly service, GENEROUS helping of garlic bread, The fish was just fabulous, two big pieces of fresh thick white fish in a crispy batter. Fries were good and the salad very fresh, could not eat it all
  The steak sandwich was very tasty, with a great salad creamy dressing plenty of food on our plates. Very good price We will be back thank you very much

  The staff were lovely and the service was prompt but when there are only a few tables on a Friday night it isn't a good sign. We ordered a meat platter for two- it cost $57 and was a rip off. The four meats were two ribs, two precooked sausages, ham and three tiny bits of chicken. Very disappointing and won't be returning again

  We had our Christmas function here, and the food was really nice, I'd thoroughly recommend it. The staff were really friendly and onto it too, the kinda place that you'd like to go to regularly.
