Good food, and we enjoyed the steamed mussels, bread selection with dips and the burgers. Friendly service.

We enjoyed Bully Hayes so much that we went back again for breakfast. They were happy to have a late booking and stayed open beyond their normal closing hours. The food was fantastic, specials were amazing. Staff were super friendly. I would recommend this place for any meal during the day.

The place is very popular but not sure for what reason. We ordered the seafood platter which seemed to have a good selection, but apart from the salmon option everything else was soaked in fried oil. The staff also was average. The guys was trying to sell me toasted bread without knowing the portion size or the type of bread it is. Would not go back there again.

Lovely spot to stop after a ride from Christchurch, good drinks and food especially the flowerpot scone with jam and cream. Friendly staff, recommended!

The restaurant is positioned adjacent to the magnificent waterways of Akaroa. We had breakfast and the food and coffee was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Good food and oh my God what a great dessert I had there! Chocolate mousse cake with white chocolate and raspberry ice cream. Heaven!

I thought the food was pretty bad and the price was too high given what we got. I got the fish and chips and my wife had a pesto pasta. The pasta was kinda bland and tasteless. The fish was soggy and the chips were floppy, cold and unseasoned. The service was also weird, the waitress was a bit standoffish and didn't seem to want us there. I'd recommend finding a cafe or something else. I don't like trashing places I've only been to once because bad days happen at the best places, but this was the worst place we visited during our entire trip.

Lovely food. We had the small bread board for starters which came with 4 dips..Pesto, beetroot feta, olive paste and one more which I forget the name of. All were amazing. The bread was perfect as well. For mains we had the prawn linguine which was nothing like we've had before. The prawns were so soft and the pasta was very tasty. The passion fruit Brulee was very unique and perfectly made as well.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We had the seafood platter. Nothing on the platter tasted fresh and my daughter commented that one of the mussels she ate tasted like nappy. We had my granddaughter with us so we chose a seat near the children's' play area, only to discover that the area was also a smoking area!
