Obviously a lovely hideaway. Hidden gardens in a new and upcoming city. Staff and food vibrant and willing to please
Service here often bit hit and miss, as is the food. Never send very consistent. Good range of hot chocolates. Last time for bowl of chips they tasted like they'd just been reheated or cooked on old oil, not hot or very tasty.
Service was great, good range of dinner options and waitress knew all the meals and made good recommendations.
Child and dog friendly cafe which is great.
I had the fish special and really should have asked the price as was more than I would have liked to pay( clearly my fault) at lunch.
Food presented well but my fish and side salad were very salty. Would definitely return but check the price of the specials and make sure the chef doesn't put on too much salt.
Great place with the friendliest, staff who treated me like an old family friend. They have amazing coffees which hit the spot especially after a sleepless night. (When you order a coffee ask for a bowl, you will not regret it) happily one of their new regulars.
Tasty surprising food, and the floor had a lean. It was a wonderful experience I would like to go back again soon. The cocktails were definitely worth the trip.
A high quality, good value, lunch menu is available. 5 lunches 2 rounds of drinks for only $160. Aucklanders couldn't believe it.
Cosy ambience. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food and drinks reasonably priced and always satisfying.
Everyone in our party of seven enjoyed their meal. Service was great. Definitely try Emerson's Bookbinder ale on tap if you like citrusy, bitter ale (loved it).
Good coffee, service and the food is well done. However, some dishes you find to be under seasoned. Choose wisely.
Great service. Food tasty just a bit plain looking. Others had much prettier meals. Great location. Near art gallery, museum a d historic buildings. Parking tricky in weekend not so bad during week. Can park at art gallery
Great food. Delicious, tender and perfectly done beef cheeks. I'll be back to see what the rest of the menu tastes like.
Nice food and great service. Only 3 stars as they only have 1 vegetarian dish on the mains menu. Great coffee. Little bit in the expensive side though.
Cafe/bar/restaurant. Three in one location. Set in old restored villas. Usual a popular spot. Great coffee
Good food abet a little standardised for the price. The didn't have any non alcoholic beer and only one vegetarian option. Very nice sunny terrace area.
The food came out quickly and was of high quality. The selection of drinks was great. The atmosphere was perfect of an afternoon in Christchurch, would recommend coming here after walking through the gardens or after riding down the Avon.
