We found out about Buster Crabb from the Entertainment Book. The website was very helpful and the menu and reviews looked really good.
Tracey was really quick and friendly in responding to my email enquiry. I was able to book and even organise a courtesy vehicle to pick us up from our Motel.
The experience tonight was even better than we could have hoped - the food was exquisite and the staff were very hospitable. The courtesy van just topped off the whole experience.

We popped in on Staurday night after a recommendation of a friend (we aren't locals), and were thoroughly impressed. I don't normally write reviews, but I needed to get this out there.
The service was efficient and freindly, and the food was excellent. I'd have to say the best food I've had in a restaurant for a long while. For what we had, it was also properly priced. Well done to the team there - I'd definitely recomend.response / report this review -

I had the most tastiest pork meal of my 60 plus years. My Brother had the blue cod and said it would be the tastiest he had ever had. As a visitor to Invercargil and not sure where to dine found Buster Crab and called in.This place was a great choice

I have just finished eating here and I have to say that the service has been great, there was a 20 minute wait at the bar before we were seated but that was fine, the place must do well because it was absolutely packed. Although after waiting for over one hour for our food to arrive, I received an average meal. How ever! Due to such a polite and quick response from the owner after posting my original comment, not only offering his apologies but trying to make amends, I find myself somewhat shocked and delighted that a restaurant would be willing to lose money on a customer just to keep him/her happy. So although my meal wasn't as good as everybody elses at my table, I have no choice but to rate this place 5 stars due to their customer service above anything else. Would recommend.

Best meal ever.The Marlin was amazing and the gingerbread desert absolutely divine. Service was impeccable. Great place to eat if you're in Invercargill.
