Best burgers in Auckland hands down. And it's not priced like it! Very fair pricing and not much of a wait, a must try if you would enjoy a good burger.

3Nov17 12:15pm Three and a half stars because the wait time was 20 minutes after placing and paying for our order even though there were only a couple of other customers in the store While we waited we saw two people enter the store, pick up food and pay for it So phone orders work! We made a special trip to Big J's because friends told us about the burgers We ordered bacon & egg burgers with double eggs. The meat patty contained too much flour - OK if you don't want pure mince We also ordered two pieces of fish Great tasting fish but oily.

Took some burgers and other items to take away. The burgers are nice and tasty. We also got some spring rolls and mac and cheese bites. The mac and cheese bites were nice. The spring roll was ok. Nice cheap dinner.

One of the Best damn burgers in townwent here and tried the super steak burger and I was left more than impressed, it amazed me to how big the burgers were and the quality was to a high standard, the special burgers are also a must. Customer service is good, what you'd expect from a takeaways and place isn't as big so it's better to takeaway in case it's busy. Loved it so much and would definitely come back

Had the Super Steak Burger it was full of flavour and quality produce. I especially like their raw fish salad flavour packed. Chips are not the absolute best I have had but nothing to detract from my rating.

This place has to have some of the best burgers in Auckland! The Snapper burger is absolutely unreal, the fish is so fresh and the runny egg on top just puts it on another level! If you go here you have to make sure you try the chips and gravy!!!

This is great place for burgers. It is a hidden secret and has a following among burger enthusiasts. Burgers are great value for money. Just make sure you call before dropping in as it is always busy here and you might be waiting for 30 minutes for your order

I thought I had already reviewed this place. Seems I hadn't but here goes. Truly a hidden gem. I had heard so many things about this place and when I found out they were just down the road from home I had to check them out. They are always busy, and when I see a place always busy it means to me that they are popular which also equates to them doing a bloody good job at what they do customers keep coming back. Its best to phone your order in and then come and pick up. But if you don't mind waiting then place your order in person. You will usually bump into people you know here as well. The steak burger is to die for, I always get mine with added mushrooms. Prices are good as well and the service is awesome. This is a lil joint that shouldn't be overlooked. Come in and give it a try. Worth the wait :)

The service is horrific, they are definitely overrated. You can't even through your takeaway rubbish from there shop away as they don't cater for it and they don't care about the environment either. Dude if you are going to be THAT BUSY, AND CATER FOR TABLES AT YOUR SHOP THEN YOU NEED A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN THROUGH THERE PAPER, BOTTLES AND LEFT OVER FOOD. Not tell us just to leave it on the already over flowing bin outside! It will be swept away in the streets! What a terrible shame that you have youth that just don't care about this beautiful land.

Wow the steak and egg burger had tender real steak and i got a hot dog chips a cheescake and 2 cokes for just over $25 great value nice people ill be back again this week.

Good but not as great as I had hoped considering the reviews. The patty isn't as moist as some other burger joints such as Burger Burger but at roughly half the price, there isn't really much to complain about. I would be really happy if this was my local takeaway.

Really Good Burgers and they have a very wide variety. Join them on Facebook and see what their special of the week is every Thursday. We have made work lunch Big J's on Thursdays. Be early they are busy but so worth the wait.
