Quality of food very low. You get better at your local takeaway store.

Absolutely horrendous. Went there for lunch. Demanded that we pay half. Didn't finish our food as alot of it was from the night before Do not go there!!!!

Shocking! Visited in October 2016, for a date night. We were gifted a restaurant Giftcard of $100 and on the website it said we could use it at Valentines Mt Eden, hence why we went. The food and service was average and then we went to pay and were frustrated because the manager told us they don't have the eftpos machine for us to use the giftcard. I explained that their restaurant was on the Giftcard website and he said yes it is but they just changed their eftpos machine and it can't be used. But then he said, he can take our Giftcard and contact the Giftcard place to get their share of the payment $70 and then they will post the Giftcard back with the remaining balance. We gave him our contact details and left the Giftcard with him. Till this day we have been making contact with them via phone and email. The manager said he would post the Giftcard back (this was at the end of January), but we still haven't received anything or any response to calls and emails sent since then. I know it's only $30 remaining on the Giftcard, but our experience was definitely not worth $100 and the lack of response and follow through with the return of the Giftcard has been frustrating. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

I went to the restaurant on Sunday night to meet my friend in order to celebrate his birthday, good, party of four, good deal for dinner free on your birthday. Had unlimited oyster can be eat. The light is not bright enough, the chair is not comfortable enough. Hope that the waiter's service is a little better.

i went with a party of 4 for lunch saturday 01 07 17.
the food was as bad as anything i have ever had. there was nothing out that was worth or able to be eaten. the seafood was as if it was from three days ago..the hot food was warm at best.
the customer service was non exsistent..
the place is dingy and dank..the carpet is gross.
i wouldn't feed my dog there let alone waste over 120 dollars

Would rate it less if I could. Absolutely disgusting!!! Do not go here. I wouldn't even feed this food to a dog. Taste old. Nothing fresh. Had a lot of full plates I couldn't eat and left it on the table. Poor service also

my favorite buffet house. dine with a good selection of food. All the food is tasty and it all tastes just how it looks, beautiful! Nice place for all ages and great for lunch and dinner. I especially recommend here coming on a birthday. It's just perfect. no sure why so many people have bad experience, for my dinner was nice!

The fans weren't working. The place was tired and worn out looking. The range of mains was basic and the dessert bar was awful. Only one friendly staff member. However! You do get what you pay for!

Complete disappointment!!
How is this place still open?
I litterely left feeling nauseous, let's hope I didn't get food poisoning!!!
Even my 2 year old wouldn't eat their food, my partner and I left still hungry!
I can't believe we had to pay $56 food that you honestly could not pay me to eat!!! The food was equivalent to last weeks left overs that was done by some poor person that can't cook!response / report this review -

been to valentines mt eden because valentines Henderson was closing down, i haven been here before. BUT!!!now i think this is the better one,everything lovely ,nice service. for $26.95 dinner it was excellent value for salad hot food and dessert . recommended!!!!
