Been here quite a few times now and never had a bad experience, good food, beer and wine, has a covered outdoor area on cold days, warm as well, service is great.

Staff were unfriendly, food was average and overprice. Location is a little bit weird. In Christchurch's saturated hospitality market You are better spending your money elsewhere. Also Google 'christchurch restaurant owner lashes out at customers.'.. interesting reading.

Food, beer, service: everything was great. The staff are happy to talk about the beer, wine, or food, and they know what they are talking about.
If you're not sure what you'll like, just ask them.
Most beers come in their branded glasses, and the food is presented well.
