We love this place. Clean, comfortable and the service is great. No issue with road noise even though taihape is known for constant trucks. We have stayed here in the past as it's half way between Wellington and Hamilton and definitely won't make the mistake of trying elsewhere in the future. Keep up the great work Aspen. We are here on a No 8 tour two nights, to have a day in the Kaimanawa ranges to see the wild horses, our accommodation is just lovely clean and the units are very tidy and modern, would stay here again if passing through the area.

Lovely rooms, clean and welcoming, right on SH1, so you do hear the trucks going through town, and the odd train, but if you do stop in Taihape this is the best motel to stay in.

Great place, quiet and comfy.
The only problem was the spa bath, which wasn't working.
The owner gave us a discount though, fair enough.

Very friendly staff and big and comfy rooms (we stayed in the spa studio). Not cheap, but best and most modern place we found to stay between Levin and Waiouro.

The rooms are the best I've stay in for a long time. Close to town. You get your money's worth. I travel a lot up that way and this is the only place I stay even if I have to travel an hour in any direction for work.
