Amazing views, I did Treble Basin track, Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall, Otria Valley and Devil's Corner Viewpoint in one day. Wasn't brave enough to do Avalanche Creek track Also the Doc site was a great place to start from since it has a shelter, flushing toilet and right across from the information center. Be sure to head there first for recommendations and a map.
Fantastic natural beauty. Had a nice walk on the tracks around Arthur's Park village.
Wow What a wonderful hike. Make the most of the place. Stay a day or two (if you can).
Pure reflection of New Zealand landscape. Beautiful. You can enjoy with pure nature. Plenty of places to have picnic. If you are ready, you can have a walk in walking track. Shop, visitor center & a museum is there. Please visit this place & get a unforgettable nature experience.
Amazing place in the middle of the Southern Alps. Punchbowl waterfall track is a must do for a quick walk but if you have a day free then Avalanche Peak provides amazing views.
Great walks, and beautiful scenery every direction you look in.
Winter trip thru here. Fantasic. Cold. Lots of snow. A couple of cafes here.
Had a gorgeous day out with my partner went to Aruthus Pass and it was snowing it was hust breath taken . I shell be back again its a BIG 👍👍👍UP FOR MYSELF ⛄❄😊
Well worth a visit - lots of scenery to look at , check road closures on government websites before going !! 😀
Incredible scenery and natural beauty. Bush clad mountains with the first frosting of snow for the year on the tops. Once through the Pass the raw and rugged gorge down to Otira is jaw dropping as you cross over the main Alpine fault. Stop at one of the observation points and amongst the stillness and beauty you will hear rocks rattling their way down the steep slopes to remind you that you are standing on an active tectonic fault.
Amazing views
New Zealand at it's best. Scenic winding roads pass through dramatic natural landscape. Abundance of well maintained trails for tramping through native alpine vegetation. An authentic picturesque village a good place to refuel. magnificent views in any weather.
Awesome views and LOTR like scenery, also scabbing Kea's hanging around.
Stunning scenery and view over the glacier made valley.
The most amazing drive I have done in New Zealand was from Greymouth to Christchurch via Arthurs pass. The scenery was breath taking. We stopped at the big rocks and took plenty of pictures. I was in awe the whole way!
