Love arataki. The honey is beautiful, the products are high quality, the place is beautiful and educational. Good for kids. The honey tasting is cool.
A unique and amazing experience, complete with an incredible range of high-end products. Pricey, but well worth it.
Interactive for small children to 112 year olds! Tastungs available for free. Fabulous gift shop with well priced items.
Fantastic place to visit. I don't really like honey that much but I really enjoy tasting theirs
Good price, Real Honey much more better than Coma
Ä€ fun afternoon tasting many varieties offers honey and learning about bees. Also bought some delicious, reasonably priced honey to bring home.
good range of local honey. staffs were helpful when approached. sadly we were muslim tourists with a child who have autism. He happened to take a toy that cost 1dollar and wandered outside thw shop. the staff went and took the item feom him without approching us the parents wchich made him looked bad and felt bad. we bought products that cost almost 200 dollars. I feel that the staff could be better traines to make customers feel more welcomed and did not give the treatment differently between people that looked or behave differently unless it is threatening to lives or properties.
Lots of varieties of honey, many of which are not available in the supermarket, all available to taste at your discretion. Informative gallery about bees and honey production. Very friendly staff. A great place to buy gifts. It's worth a stop here.
Beautifully done. Warm and helpful staff. Great educational resources, videos and live bees - targeted at children, but as two adults we found it fascinating too! Definitely worth a visit.
Nice little shop/museum, simple small easy to digest information about bee keeping and honey production. Highlight is the honey tasting stand. Recommend stopping by.
Honey shop that is nearly like a museum, has hives and information, dress up for kids, microscopes, and lots of varieties of honey.
This is a surprisingly nice shop. It is large and filled with a variety of well priced gifts and a large assortment of local honey. The staff are very friendly and quite knowledgeable about their products and the area itself.
Visitor centre and micro-museum. Great selection of honey-based products. Free entry and free honey tasting. A few educational facts about bee keeping and honey production.
Great job of making a mini-museum about Honey. Shoppers can spend their time learning how honeys are being made and harvested; other than shopping for honey. They also have a variety of items to sell and I really love that they offer free taste of the honeys they sell; gives buyers the idea of which honey suits their liking. One of the places you can drop by if you are visiting Havelock North.
