Good location. You can see the beach from this restaurant. Meal size is good & food quality is very average. Price is not cheap either.

Very disappointed as have visited other Hogs Breath Rest in NZ & Aust and Napier needs to up their game
My steak was tough and over done
Salad was tired and boring.
Service was good.
Decor needs up dating

We had a family celebration on the 09/09/17 for our nephews 21st and they took 35 minutes to take our order, forgot to come back to take my dads order. Our table was sticky and had dirty cutlery left on it from previous diners. The fish dish was so disappointing and my father said it was shocking. My mother couldn't eat her chicken as it was too dry. It took 30 min for our desert after our meal and they forgot the kids deserts which we never got. My sister told them at check out but wasnt offered a discount but asked if she wanted them now. They then tried to make us pay our bill twice as they hadn't taken off the money paid from 5 adults. So lucky my family had kept their receipts. I'm disappointed for my nephew as this was his restaurant of choice to celebrate his 21st. The only saving grace for this evening was leaving. A vey long 2 and a half hours. I wanted to give 0 stars but it wouldn't let me.

Overpriced with very small portions. Customer service poor as there was only one waitress on the floor. Will not be back.

Stopped there for early lunch. The food was quite bad to begin with, to be honest. Also they charged me for it twice. First time when I used my card the transaction did not complete properly, so they had me do the payment again by signing a receipt. Turns out the first transaction was just delayed, and I was charged the same amount again later. And even though I left my phone number, they never called me back. Quite a shifty place that I'll definitely avoid next time.

We have been many times and enjoyed but wont go back again, waiter awesome hence the one star. $33 for a main you would expect a good sized meal, no not at all and it was only average in taste at a push. I did ask the desk person and she said the portion size's had been reduced because that"s what Aussie told them to do. Well that sucks, good bye to me and friends as regulars
