A new control tower is being built which would surely upgrade the service. Otherwise the whole area is so silent that you would be surprised that people use the airport or not.

Small Airport, new building is yet to function. The body check is strict. The police wont let you take water with you (only airport in Nepal).

It's Nepal's second airport. It is established only after Kathmandu's airport. There is flight available for kathmandu and from kathmandu to Janakpur. It is situated in natural climate
