No idea
Some of the best memories I will ever have are those spent in Nepal. I went with 2 other friends just before college for a 7-day hike around Kathmandu Pokhara. The scenery, i can never do it justice with words, but I could try! The mountains we could see in the distance were snowcapped, and we could see them from almost all our rest stops. For example, we would wake up to the sunrise, and it would be quite cloudy sometimes, but there would be at least 10 minutes where the clouds would just clear, and from our beds we would stare breathless at the mountains. It was simply surreal. Throughout the treks we also got to experience incredible views of the landscape. Of course the higher you went, the more rewarding it was, but no matter where we were, we got to see the day-to-day lives of the nepalese people in the region, and it was a real eye-opener. You would always see the kids being happy with what they had, and there was so much to be admired of the people. Oh and the food up there, they honestly had a shockingly wide variety which always tasted good. And the Milk Tea after a long hike, is just perfect
In the city itself, we had a couple of days to look around. The food was good, everything was cheap, we were brought around by Mr. Bodhraj Koirala (he's in Glance Himalayas) who showed us a great time and even hosted us for dinner on the last night. The internal flights might be scary for some, but it was exciting for us, although navigating in the airport wasn't the easiest task.
It was a fantastic trip, and well worth the money. Most, if not all, of the credit (as all my my friends agreed), was thanks to Mr. Bodhraj Koirala, and our guide Hridaya! (Hridaya was awesome, I've lost contact with him, but do request for him for a wonderful trip!) Definitely recommend anyone to go!
