The place is closed for visitors. It’s not possible to enter the tea garden since the wardens and security had to stop locals and tourists from entering. This is due to misbehavior of tourists and locals who throw trash around the area and breaking the tea plants.
We talked to the owner and wardens and they said that nobody is allowed to enter the tea garden anymore. I was here at first of June 2018.response / report this review -

If you wonder why I gave one star to such a beautiful and nature friendly place beacuse I have heard from so many people that this place is popularly known as brother of Ilam so guess what will be my expectation high as hell. But when I actually visit a few days back I got to see such a bad condition of this tea garden where were no tea plants.
Apart of all this is not the sustainable solutions to make a tea garden as a attraction for tourism. Since this place is far more famous for Tea Garden small brother of Ilam it should be conserved and preserved with more hardwork and care.🙏
I had a bad experience when i visit this place.

It is great for short- mid level bike ride from kathmandu valley which offers blue sky and good view of Himalayas at North at certain point of journey. While you reach at this place, you might be disappointed since the employee of this place would direct you to the hoarding board which says the visitor has been restricted during certain period of time and would suggest you to visit it later. They would say that they have some good future plans for the visitor which would be great I hope in near future as per their saying to be believed.
If you want to enjoy the ride , I would suggest you to visit this place from Kathmandu and you might extend your visit if you wish to go through the melamchi side or to the dolalghat .response / report this review -

Nice place to visit .Near to Kathmandu valley.Also know as mini Illam. We can see beautiful view of mountains.And now you can't enter inside the garden due to some of the management problems. Will re open from next year.

The road upto this place is a little difficult. The road is under construction. When you reach this place, you will feel of staying at that place that night. It is small in area but has a very peaceful environment

Wow it was just incredible to be there after climbing steepy hills we finally reached there i was like 👌👌👌😇😇😇 blessed to be there it was such a greenery and pleasant experience being there we werenot allowed to enter the tea garden but still we got lost in its beauty by watching if from aside

I loved this place 😍😍😍It was great movement with my family and awesome holiday also 😍😍😍We just enjoy the tea garden by drinking cold drinks 😍😍 and some fruits which we have been taken from home..I haven't found the hotel 😔😔😔 to ate lunchBut it was cool day 😍😍😍
