Very good view, rooms and service as well. Good choice for short trip, weekends.
We went there in a group of 11, booked the place a few days back. They send a person to pick us up from their parking space which I think is a really good gesture.
It will take 30-40mins of hiking from the parking place to the resort (mostly uphill and sometimes downhill). The way to resort gets you through a small forest and a village.
Once you reach the resort, the view is really good. We were greeted with snacks which was okay. The rooms are plenty spacious, really well maintained and super clean. The resort had view of all directions from where you could see a lot of villages, and also a view of mountain range though it wasn't as clear due to the weather. We took out own booze which they allowed(I think). The staff was super friendly and really helpful with our requests.
When asked for barbeque they prepared it/cut it, and served us while we were enjoying firewood.
The only thing I didn't like at this place was the food. I absolutely didn't want to complete my plate, and my friends felt the same as well. For a place that good, they really should hire good chefs.
Great place to spend weekend with friends or family.
A great resort with great Himalaya and Balthali area view. The food and service are great as well as the rooms we stayed in. The room balcony had amazing view of Himalayas and sunrise. Not so expensive like other resorts and really value for money. Will recommend to everyone.
Amazing view of mountains and village around it. Price is reasonable. Foods were not good as expected. It can be a good destination for one or two day trip.
We stayed there more than 3 times. Beautiful view, clean and extremely quiet locations. Room seems very clean and standard. Might be trouble to go in car during rainy season. 4 wheller jeep or Tata sumo is very appropriate. Along with staying there we can also go for hiking around river side and balthali village.
Best viewpoint and great hospitality but bit crowded with musics and Nepalese events.
Okay, I am here today, for weekend, with my wife. The road to the resort is right through the town of Banepa and further through village of Balthali. The resort is locate on a hilltop that overlooks the village of Balthali and further down the village of Panauti. It is quiet, serene, and the rooms are top. Apart from the facilities and the location, the staffs are very friendly and hospitable. Totally bang for the buck.
Beautiful place and a good route for hiking.
Best place to be cool and refreshed i love it.
Awesome place. Awesome environment. Good food and excellent views.
Awesome place with peaceful and friendly enviroment good food good service..
Situated at the top of the hill, you have the best view over the terrace field, Balthali Village and the Himalaya.
Staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Food was good. Overall experience, Excellent!
Beautiful place, fresh air :) loved the environment and ambience. Great weekend gateway!
The location of the resort is quite good. Very peaceful and good view of the villages. The room was okay, it had all the amenities but the room itself could use bit of an upgrade. Specifically the bed and mattress. I didn't like the dinner that much. The food was bland and felt tasteless. The breakfast had a bit more option. Overall the experience was okay. They could definitely improve on the service.
We stayed at Balthali Village Resort for one night. The walk to the resort is beautiful. Good Nepali food, nice and hospitable staff. You can either go for nearby village for short hike or Namabuddha for whole day hiking trip. Popular cave located 1 hours hike from the resort.
Nice people, clean room and tasty food. Nice views too.
A quiet place out of KTM's hustle and bustle.
Best place to Hangout with Family and stunning view of Sunrise and sunset with gregarious staffs.
Friendly staff, awesome hiking experience, best place to be with family.
