Rooms are nice and big. However, the air is very dry. Also, I asked for a king size bed, but didn't get it
Would have been nice to know that the garage to the lobby has no elevator. Be sure to unload your luggage at the entrance. Garage door is also a little weird that you need to be buzzed in and then a walk up a flight of stairs. Other than that the hotel is nice along with the breakfast.
Housekeeping not clean proper. I stay in business class but not have complementary as business class should have. Disappointed.
Room is small. Beds (2 twins) were very comfortable. Bathroom layout was functional with (apparently) a heated floor and a retractable clothesline in the shower. We did do laundry (socks and underwear). The breakfast area was extremely large with ample seating and the available food items covered a wide range of choices, including very tasty homemade smoothies. Despite the negative of a small room, the location of the hotel overcomes any shortcomings. You would be hard pressed to find a more conveniently situated place in which to stay while visiting Bergen.
Great Service, Food, Cocktails
The Radisson Blu is in the perfect location for visiting Bergen, near to attractions, shops, restaurants, and the bus from the airport. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My spouse was ill during our trip to Bergen, and the housekeeping staff quickly brought up an extra duvet (even though they were operating on a minimal staff, due to the 1 May holiday). When I told the maid not to clean the room (since my spouse was sleeping), she offered to provide fresh towels and toiletries so that we were "provided for," even though she was not able to get in to clean the room.
The breakfast offerings were varied and plentiful. I had a drink in the bar with a long-time Bergen friend, and the cocktails were delicious.
My only complaint (and this applies to many hotels) was the lack of electrical outlets near the bedside tables and at the desk. In fact, I could find only two outlets available for use, and one of those was near the floor next to the window -- not exactly an ideal location to work with my various electronic devices.
All-in-all, though, I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu in Bergen, Norway.
We had to get the room switched because key didn't work 3 times. The hotel was decent. Thor hotels seem better
Room was ok. Hair was in bathroom. Took a couple trips downstairs to get keycard to open the door. Carpet in room is quite ugly, and there is no charging for electric car. Location of hotel is good, room was quiet, and breakfast was nice.
Very nice hotel, hidden at the end of Bryggen at the heart of Bergen. They have a chilled out pub, though it it not the happening place where all teenagers go, that's what makes it awesome. A place to chill and talk instead of screaming over music. Their soup also tastes amazing! Look out for Jan a very friendly and awesome bartender who makes the experience a lot more pleasant. :)
Typical business hotel that doesn't mean business. Plain bar and restaurant, mediocre services. Decent location
Comfortable, nice and clean :-) The breakfast is great, they offer gluten-free food. Nice location.
