staff nice, professional. breakfast and food good. cleanliness perfect. room 403 awful. box room. staying 5 nights, no wardrobe or drawers, no kettle, cannot unpack my bag and also a tiny single bed. no choice given. shoddy.

Great location! Super conveniently located right next to the National Gallery, Royal Palace, and airport train. They have breakfast, plus snack for the afternoon and dinner all included which is great if you're on a tight budget. The rooms were spacious by European standards and the bed was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Oslo. Highly recommended!

Very friendly, unrushed service in reception and restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were included for a very reasonable price. Room was well maintained and spacious. Very nice stay.

I might have ended in the wrong room but the standard expected from the descriptions and the ratings I had seen online before booking this hotel are not met. There was a funny smell in the room as I got in, I would have assumed coming from cigaret? Overall the room 307 is a little outdated and is crying for some fresh paint. The walls are full of marks and stains. I also found a chewing gum stuck on the door Apart from this I don't mind the small size of the room as I am on my own and it is clean. The staff at the reception is very friendly.

Hotel is located very conveniently to things that visitors might be interested in. The meals, which are included in your room rate are wonderful. The hotel sort of blends modern with older features from the building, and it works nicely. The only negative is that the rooms facing the courtyard are not exactly quiet due to very loud crashing noises coming from the restaurant staff while going about their daily responsibilities. I would probably request a street facing street next time, as that sort of noise would be easier for us to be comfortable with. Other than that, this hotel is very good and we are enjoying our stay.
