Room was huge. Great location in the center of everything. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was wonderful. Hotel is old but has character and is well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to a friend.

I use Best Western Karl Johan as my base for meetings and business in Oslo. The hotel is in the very center of Oslo , next to the main street Karl Johan. The hotel has a very good atmosphere and is very well sheltered for noise from the street. The hotel has a very good conference- and meetingfaclities with all rights. The hotel staff are very helpful and have very good experience. As I consider the hotel as my second home, it is therefore important that you are being well followed up by the hotel staff. Everyone, from the maid service, the breakfast service, the reception and the management, has the highest standard. I can safely recommend this hotel to people on holiday, for families and for business purposes. .

A comfortable Hotel in a great location, a short walk from Oslo train station, also very close to the Fjord promenade. Bed is very comfortable and the bathroom and hotel room are clean . Staff at the hotel are all friendly, and the breakfasts is good

Extremely well situated hotel, right on the Karl Johansgate. It was easy to get to the main places of interest downtown and public communication got us anywhere we needed to go further afield without any problem.

Not a luxury hotel, but right in the heart of Oslo within walking distance of many attractions. Easy to get to from the airport, as it is near the central station.

Comfortable rooms, traditional European style hotel. Rooms are a bit small if you're not from Europe, but had everything you need. Heated floors in bathroom. Great location, walking distance to Akershus, waterfront, National Theatre, and Old Aker Church.
