  Amazing place, the location is perfect, there is park around the hostel, at the same time city center is like 15 min walk, where you can find shops, bars, etc. Also you can rent a bike with around 10€ per day and explore around. There are small forests and parks around and bicycle roads make it very easy to ride. Food is good, very clean, safe, staff is very friendly

  Great place. Really good breakfast included. Pitty they close the gates at 24:00 and you basicly have a curthew..

  The castle and surrounding castle garden is quite beautiful. It's not as large as other castles in the Netherlands, Germany etc, but still highly recommended. I did not stay the night so I can't review the rooms and service.

  I was a guest at a wedding. The food en drinks were nice. Just like the service. Everything was excellent.

  Wonderful hostel in a historic castle. Great dinner and breakfast. Serves beer at a bar. Bicycles can be locked in a shed and rented.

  Great castle, nice staff. English wasn't very widely spoken but we got along fine. Note: there isn't a taxi typically at beverwijk but uber has the whole area in range -- the minimum fare is however 20 euros, which you will be well under. The bus (which is line 574 now, not line 74) only runs hourly so depending on your time you might consider this.
  
  Facilities were typical, but we had some issues with smell from the shower. Would recommend if you have a lot of extra time near Amsterdam.
