I will always come back to this place if we come with the camper to Amsterdam. Basic but the best in terms of location and tranquility. Its nice to feel at home in what looks like a parking lot with electricity and water suplies. Place to empty black and grey water. Simple! Easy electronic way to get in. Wifi hasn't work for us so far of all the times we have being here but its not an isue. I love it
Practical place to camp. Easy to go to Amsterdam city center from there by ferry. I love it!
Ideal and very secure location for visiting Amsterdam. Short walk to the free ferry that takes you to Central Station.
Very helpful staff member on duty when we arrived who assisted with the self check-in.
Would certainly recommend if you are travelling by motorhome and planning a visit to explore the city.
It's a cool place to stay, very quiet and calm. Free from city noise and bicycles with canals nearby and some few occasional locals (individuals) fishing. I am really enjoying my stay in Amsterdam 👍
Beautiful and intense center with lots of canals, I miss some green parks though.
Probably one of the cheapest and best ways to visit Amsterdam :)
Owner friendly and helpful, and close to the city centre. This site is excellent for people using mobility scooters etc as the ferry is easy to access on these, which is not the case for example at Zeeberg.
Another reviewer said there was free parking in the north, maybe but sleeping in vehicles overnight is strictly prohibited in Amsterdam and you can end up with a fine if the Police or other agency catch you!!!!
It's a great place. A no frills setup incredibly helpful owner best access to Amsterdam.
I needed to be in Amsterdam all day everyday for a couple of weeks so this was perfect.
I'm also disabled this place has level access no nasty steps to worry about.
Most of the people I saw in their motorhomes also brought their bicycles so I'm guessing it's good for cycling as well.
Is in the heart of an arts and crafts business community so I took some pictures.
Close to the citycenter and easy self check in. Could be a little more cozy, and remember that you have to pay both for your vehicle but also for the number of people.
Near a busy nightclub district of Amsterdam. Shame no toilets or showers. Motorhome a crammed in
Amazing bulshit. its maybe getto for the caravan users?? 0 star. Or minus 5.
An old municipal campsite now being used as a Motorhome aire. Plenty of room, although vehicles can be seen clumped around the few remaining electric points! Handy for the expo and going into Antwerp.
Pitches available with or without electricity. Fresh water, and grey and black water disposal. No showers/toilets. Wifi. Felt safe - secure gates, entry with passcode. Easy access by foot or bicycle into town using free ferries.
First of all, there's free parking in loads of places in the North of Amsterdam. Secondly as a local, this is horribly ugly to look at compared to other places in the area. For camping people, the "near the city" experience isn't usually what of the most important anyway and there's plenty of space further out than here also with greener areas. Ferries as people mention are on biking distance from plenty of other campings too. The only useful point is electricity and the fact that they sometimes host an outdoor cinema event.
