  Beautiful location in a forest, good food, good ambience. 3 stars due to a problem with flies! Constantly had them disturbing us during our meal indoors. They need one of those insectocutor lamps!

  Na een wandeling is het altijd leuk om een gezellig uitziende 'herberg' binnen te lopen. Het is fraaier als je daarbij ook nog eens snel en vriendelijk wordt bedient terwijl het er gezellig druk is. Je vergeet al snel de gedachte dat je je in een herberg waande.. Je voelt en ervaart de sfeer en kwaliteit. Ook worden er goed gevulde borden gebracht. Als je vervolgens naar buiten loopt is de tijd voorbij gevlogen en zul je dankzij het voorgaande, maar ook de prijsstelling, nog eens snel terug gaan zonder de wandeling. Zou je kids meegenomen hebben, dan is er voor hen ook nog genoeg ruimte in de speeltuin om te spelen.

  Wasn't too expensive, but not something I would return too, small room with some decorating flaws, (a ladder in front of a closet door? ) in the shower we found hair from the last guest ( we guess) temperature in the shower fluctuated too much from too cold to buring hot. We could also hear the neighbours. Breakfast was limited and they for instant they had american pancakes, cold i might add,but there were usually just one or two laying there. Same with other items, as is too say earlybirds get lucky but if you're up too late its too bad because it'll all be gone. Sad. Supper was good

  We LOVE this place. We have stayed here twice in the wonderful family room on the top floor. The room is big and has a lovely bathroom. The restaurant/bar is great and very accommodating to our children. Food is totally yummy too! We can't wait to come back, and we really hope one day we will.

  Great restaurant and hotel nearby the centre of Oisterwijk. Located directly in the forest with a nice terrace and beautiful walking tracks. The hotel offers facilities for both tourists as business travellers.
  Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner it is the perfect place to relaxand sit down with a glass of wine or a Belgian beer.

  Fantastic cosy setting in the middle of the forest, friendly staff, good food and great beer from the local Trappist monastery 😃
