Great hotel amenities with modern design and friendly staff. However I do hope that they make the elevators more efficient, too often I am waiting for what it seems forever when I cam get on especially during the rush a second or two less waiting per floor would already help. Breakfast needs some review as well. Also I am trying to make sense of why a business hotel doesn't have a proper working desk.

Everything was spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff from reception to housekeeping. The best range of breakfast food I have ever seen. However, there seemed to be only full cream milk on offer, and in the room there was no milk at all, just coffee creamer which is unpleasant in tea. There were no cups or mugs in the room for hot drinks, only glasses. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large TV was a treat.

As compared to other Novotel hotels across the world this hotel was bit below standard. First there was no shuttle service between airport N hotel. Considering the hotel a huge hit among business conference traveller's I feel this service would be of great help. The room was bit small again as compared to other Novotel standards. But the location proximity to Tram and Train station was good. Room service again was a let down where you had to rush down the reception to collect your dental kit. Overall satisfactory but way below Novotel chain of hotels.

Very good business hotel, the rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is amazing.
We booked the hotel for a exhibition show in the RAI center. Its a 10 min walk.
The hotel is close to Metro station and approx. 15 min to Amsterdam Grand Central station and 10 min by train to the airport.

Easy to reach from the airport and from the city center. Quite quite area. Small, comfortable and clean room and very comfortable mattress. Good soundproofing.
Personnel is polite (yes, just polite).
Breakfast is good enough
So the hotel is not entertained me but provided all I need for the rest after work.response / report this review -

I experienced an inconvenience at the hotel, because one of your reception officers disregarded my explanations of what had happened previously that day. Fortunately, that was afterwards solved in a very smooth manner by one of the senor officers. Due to that mistake, after I left the hotel, I was e-mailed an invoice addressed to a company in Great Britain, which I had never heard of before.
Otherwise, my stay in the hotel was great. I enjoyed the breakfasts, and especially sleeping in the very comfortable bed.response / report this review -

Hotel Novotel is a brilliant hotel with decently sized rooms and comfy big beds. Well decorated minimalist rooms sport a hefty amount of plugs to keep all your gadgets ready to go and also provides a large TV to watch while you relax after your long days out. The shower is superb and the price is even better, I will definitely stay here in the future.

Small, but clean and nice room. A bit tight for three people. Beds are comfortable. Good to have a shower with a bathtub. Staff are very nice and friendly, always happy to help with any issue. Great breakfast buffet. So many selections and fresh and delicious food. My favorites are the fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccinos and made to order omelettes. Will definitely be back. Thanks!
Edit: reception desk lines during peak times could be very long. Just waited 30 minutes to check out. Lowering to 4* after that experience.response / report this review -

A bit small, but very clean and well equipped toilet. The shower taps could be replaced for a less rounded model, since hands lost grip once wet.
Room was also clean, big, mattress perfect, all clean and clean smell. TV very big at 50 inches. A/C perfect.
Closet had a well sized safe. Plenty hangers, hair drier, cotton robe and slippers. Toiletries were diverse and had nice smell. Nespresso machine, electric kettle (I didn't use them) and a well sized fridge. Plenty drinks.
The restaurant had plenty space for a lot of people. Never felt crowded around 8 am. Staff was very kind and continuously cleaning.
The buffet was great, plenty kinds of food, all of them very well cooked. Natural orange juice and coffee machines everywhere, that was great. I didn't notice seafood but I only had breakfast.
Receptionist were gentle and kind.

Really pleased with the rooms and facilities. These were excellent. Service was lacking. We waited 40 minutes for our waitress in the bar to return to take our food order after serving our drinks. She never did so I ordered at the bar. We had to rush our food and were late for a meeting.
Checking out took way to long with people checking in and out in the same lines. We waited around 20 minutes to check out. There is a quick checkout service we could use in future but at this time we were not registered.

L'hôtel est bien situé, juste en face de la gare RAI ce qui le rend très accessible. Juste à côté il y a le tram et le métro aussi
Petit déjeuner très copieux, beaucoup de choix
Mais le personnel de l'hôtel n'est pas accueillant. Aucun sourire, aucun mot gentil la chambre était sale, mal nettoyé, le plateau de bouilloire plein de poussière. je suis resté trois jours et la femme de ménage n'a même pas remplacé le savon. bref niveau propreté, il y a encore beaucoup de boulot à faire dans cet hôtel.response / report this review -

Room is a bit smaller than what we expected for a triple room what we booked.
Staff are wonderful, especially the ones in restaurant.
Breakfast is huge, lots of options for us to choose from.

Reception staff were extremely helpful. Room clean.
Breakfast had wide range of choices - particularly pleased by choice of seeds and dried fruits to supplement cereals and freshly squeezing orange juice machine.
Location great for station RAI which has links to the university and city centre.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in - The spacious, cozy rooms, the available services, the enchanting view from the window and most importantly the sumptuous, foodgasmic breakfast stole my heart. The lively & super friendly hotel staff added crown to the staying experience. A great place to stay in the great city of Amsterdam. A sure shot 5 stars.
