Decent enough hotel, but it's pretty much like it's equivalents elsewhere. Breakfast not included in room rate & at €22 per day is outrageous.
Found a couple of cigarette ends of the room floor.

The first attribute in a hotel should be hospitality. Being fancy does not compensate for rude personnel. Personnel in the lobby should smile and not make assumptions. Please give them a smile bonus. All of them were depressing!

Breakfast is good. Location is also good, very easy access to airport or city centre by train or tram. Just three minutes walk to the station.

Staff at reception and restaurant were really nice. The rooms were big enough for a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. Although we liked the hotel, we found the room and bathroom to be dirty. The bathroom floor and the bath tub were dirty and the walls of the bedroom had many stains ( someone had possibly spilled a drink all over the wall) which could have been easily cleaned with a sponge. Breakfast was fantastic. Public transport is right beside the hotel.

Reliable comfort for an American traveling to Europe. The staff was really friendly and speaking English was not a problem at all. The pillows are on the small side so I recommend asking for two extra per bed. The toilets have poop ledges. So if that's unfamiliar to you then sit backwards on the toilet so you drop the kids off in the pool rather than on the sidewalk outside.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms with air con. Has fitness options, bar and restaurant. Close to tram and train links. No.4 tram goes straight into Amsterdam Central and through Dam Square. Takes about 20min.

I had a fantastic stay here. It was clean, warm, the staff were very nice and accommodating, and the room was one of the best I have stayed at in Europe.

The staff's attitude toward security is relaxed to say the least. They managed to leave my hotel room door open, and left my rucksack in the hotel's conference room instead of the sodding secured bag room.

Hotel employee played professional victim when I brought this to their attention and kept saying "Don't blame me" while trying to make me seem unreasonable for complaining.
I managed to retrieve my bag from an unalarmed, unlocked, and unguarded room, they "securely" stored it in and then waited at reception for 10 minutes before the staff noticed I was there.

Food: ample
Room : ample
Bed : ample
Staff : ample
Price : too much

The only Star I give it is because it's very close to the convention centre which is me being generous.

TLDR: Use somewhere else. Even a hostel has a better security ethos than this place

Slept well! Price was ok! Located close to many transportations although a little outside town. On the minus, I would expect 4 beds on a 4 person bedroom and not 2 small 1.40m couple beds

Reserved a standard room nonsmoking.

Hotel located outside of central Amsterdam. Rooms were alright. Found flies swarming in the first room given, so I had to request another. Second room had dead flies, so I guess that was better. Pretty sure they don't check the windows. Everything else was good other than that. Razors were crappy. Tram located right outside to bring you anywhere.
