Very nice room - standard double. Bar and restaurant very good. Close to railway station and shops. Good base from which to explore Rotterdam.

Nice hotel with decent sized rooms. Reserve your rooms ahead to get the best rates. They fluctuate daily depending on demand. Breakfast is cold continental, but not too bad. Locaded right by the city center. Perfect location for shopping, food, and drinks!

Good hotel and reasonable priced. Near the centre of Rotterdam, which is great for shopping or going out. The rooms are spacious, tidy and clean (same goes for the shower/toilets). Breakfast buffet which offers a variety of breads, croissants, yoghurts, cereals fruits and drinks.

Good location close to train station. Friendly staff. Room smallish but fine. Bed was really comfortable. Lovely shower. Really what more do you want if all you do is spend a few hours there and go to bed.

Excellent hotel; good breakfast, very nicr and helping stuff. The only thing is that you can't open the windows at the room. But the rest is prefect.

The rooms are very clean and have good facilities. The shower was very nice and I never wanted to get out, I just wanted to stay safe in the shower washing away my problems. The breakfast was lovely although my dad could've done with a boiled egg. Finally, I was promised one soft one firm pillow, but given two firms. This is a firm no from me. However, the friendliness of the staff, particularly spritely Michael, truly my stay. Xoxo gossip girl

Right next to a main road and tram route, but the sound insulation is very good, so you don't really hear it. You're given a couple of pillows, one soft and one firm, other hotels often don't do that. Charging points on only one side of the bed, so if you're sharing a room with someone, only one person can charge their phone overnight whilst keeping it beside them.

Breakfast is very uninspiring. It's a bit of a scrum for not very appetising options. This could be massively improved. The breakfast seating area is not very comfortable or cosy.

Neither of the rooms I stayed in had a secure safe, ironing facilities or fridge/minibar. There is a vending area in the reception, but not a great selection.

Though this is an Express hotel, the quality of the rooms was fantastic with good views (not all rooms may have a good view). The toilet was very clean and shiny. Room is just right size,, but that's what you expect from an Express hotel. Breakfast is very basic. Staff was very helpful. Overall a very convenient hotel at the centre of the business district.

Stayed 5 nights. Room was nice except there no place to place your clothes except in your suitcase and on the floor. It seems all of the hotels have the same issue. The best part of the stay is the location. 15 min. walking to lots of food places and shopping and a free continental breakfast. One thing this hotel needs is a microwave for guests. Since this hotel has no restaurant it needs this when guest bring food back from the outside.

Nicest holiday inn I've ever been in. Lovely staff and wonderfully clean rooms. Only problem was the AC made me freezing when I had it set to 21C and automatic.

A very nice hotel! The staff is very professional and friendly, I arrived in the middle of the night and left very early but they made my stay as relaxing and carefree as possible. For a very decent price the room was clean and comfortable with everything I could need.
It is close to the station but some extra information would be nice to find it.

Good hotel, good location.
Spent a weekend at the HI Express hotel. Rooms are smallish and so is the double bed; not a real problem if you're alone. Good bathroom with good water pressure. The breakfast is included and that made the room a good deal. Breakfast is what I would call continental extended. Only hot item is a cooked egg. But it was more than adequate and tasted good.
Kudo's to the cheery and helpful staff.
