Very nice hotel. Away from the crowd and a 10 min walk from the beach. Extremely peaceful. The only issue is that it's far from the city center to transportation is a bit expensive. The hotel staff is very helpful.

This hotel is attached to a massive conference center. Staying here due to a canceled United flight, it wasn’t very impressive. The staff was fairly cranky and the rooms were a bit scuffed up and yet clinical feeling. Our room was even next door to a room used for exercise classes which ran until the evening which we could hear. The food in the restaurant was ok, but very average mass produced food. The best part was the bar which at least had a few good beer selections and had the friendliest staff.

The team had no issue to handle more then 900 people. I was especially positively surprised how good they navigated us around. I never had to search for anything.

Rooms were a good size but felt a little dated, couldn't find a thermostat and the rooms were very hot. Forced to open a window and it was loud outside. Breakfast was beyond bad, dinner buffet was pretty good

This is a huge hotel suitable for big companies. You notice that mostly in the queues at the breakfast buffet. It is well organized with a friendly staff. It has however one big disadvantage and that is the location. To far from the city centre and to far from the beach. So on a business trip you are at the right place, for vacation go elsewhere.

Massive hotel, with plenty of on site parking. We arrived on motorbikes and the parking was easy. We chose the B&B option; breakfast was lovely and so much choice. The bar/restaurant in the evening, on site, was A la Carte, but was very tasty. Only issue for us really was it was a bit too far out of a main town/village, to walk, so we did take our bikes everywhere, but the roads are well maintained. Hotel also has a pool but we didn't get round to using it.

Hotel has good facilities. Breakfast quality is above averge. Hotel restaurant is a grill and above average. Hotel rooms are below usual NH standard especially bathroom. Shower has curtain instead of door. Sink is not 100% clean. More for business trip than with family

This was my second visit in 6 years and apart from the ground floor refurbishment, nothing much has changed.
A disabled room wasn't available which surprised me considering it was just the beginning of the season and it appears that only have 1 wheelchair to borrow. My room whilst clean, needed the bathroom to be refurbished; dated and needed a complete overhaul, which was what the swimming pool was getting I believe Priorities spring to mind.
The Reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant however the one thing that must down The Hotel in a big way, was the in-house food and service from the staff.
As a 500 room hotel one would assume that serving tables of 8 to 10 people would be the norm. It wasn't. A group of FedEx staff were fetted like royalty with waiter's and staff fawning over them whilst our experience was vastly different.
We arrived in the Hotel at 19.10 after some had left home at 06.30 that morning; eat and bed. However that was not to be the case. We sat down at 19.45, ordered by 20.00. Our party of 6 were served food at approx [email protected], [email protected], [email protected],[email protected] and mine at 21.35. It was cold. The excuse was that we wanted separate bills?! The unfortunate waiter was called over and berated in public by the Manager, however they did not realise that one of our members were Dutch and understood everything! It was so embarrassing for him and us.
My bill was obviously waivered but having been to the Hotel before, I was quite shocked at the lack of customer service and unprofessional attitude from a hotel that purports to be 4 Star.response / report this review -

Good rooms with good service. Personnel is polite and helpful. The wifi is free, but slow. I changed to internet via my mobile carrier. Toilets and other facilities are nice and clean.

Really quiet and relaxed hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Also the dinner was excellent. Friendly, caring staff. 1 point deduction because the pool was out of operation, but this wasn't mentioned on the website.
