Loverly hotel with fantastic staff have stayed here for many years

Only 2 complaints - no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no shaver point in the bathroom. Staff are very courteous and helpful and room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Really good breakfast, small but cosy room, nice comfortable bed, great view of the Groningen (5th floor). The room's temperature was warm enough but I turned on the radiator to be sure. On Saturday,breakfast is till 11. Check out is at 12. So no need to hurry. It was a nice choice.

We had a comfort room which was nice. A very spacious shower (some come with a bath, but not all of them). The hotel location is great near the city center. Breakfast was nice. A lot of different juices, and your regular buffet with bread, yoghurt and fruit.
Had a very nice stay, also a 24H reception.
Only thing I would've liked different we're the pillows. They were too soft for my liking.response / report this review -

Friendly personnel, great position (very close to the railway station), nice rooms with very clean baths. Prizes are reasonable.you can only have breakfast if u want, but there are lots of places nearby for lunch and dinner.

Quite weird really, this Hampshire hotel is only a small walking distance away from another Hampshire hotel, bit of an Hampshire overdose? But never mind, the hotel is nice enough, with spacious rooms and good beds. Nothing really special about it though, so three stars in stead of four.

Rooms are a little dated, but the reception were very welcoming! Breakfast was also fantastic.

Style of the hotel is old, but service is good. Facilties are adequate but the rooms can be a bit dusty.
