This is a modern clean place. The rooms are dominated by modern wooden style. The location is perfect for city trips, everything is in walking distance. The staff was nice and polite.

The lady at the front was really helpful with a warm heart and a smart appearance altogether. Our room was special in a way as we have never seen such accommodation in style before. Breakfast and staff member are excellent at their jobs. Thanks for the nice stay.

I stayed at the Asgard a few years ago. Good value, great service, close to everything in Groningen. And most importantly, very close to the train station!

Had a great experience at the Ascard while in Groningen for work in March of 2012. Beautiful rooms, nice interior design layouts throughout, and very nice staff.
My only complaint was, at the time we were staying, the elevator was out of operation due to construction, and it was a pretty good workout going up and down those stairs, especially since we stayed on the top floors. Other than that, it was a beautiful experience.response / report this review
