This is a great hotel. All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. They all make you feel at home, from the receptionists to catering staffs and the room cleaners. Rooms are very big and the cleaning standard is very high. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amesterdam on holiday. We had a great stay here and would definately come back.

The hotel is nice from the exterior but it fails to live up to its rating. Little things about the hotel make it seem cheap and for a place called, "Dutch Design" it doesn't seem like functional design was in it's consideration. The furniture is of poor quality, feeling light and hallow. There are knicks and scuffs all over the built-ins. The bathroom door and shower door are incredibly frustrating. The bathroom for did not close completely, staying ajar constantly, and the shower door did not block the water from leaking out. After every shower the floor was completely covered in water. The TVs are very old and made the rooms feel cheap and the curtains did the same. This place was very disappointing.

Really nice hotel. Staff are fantastic. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Just be aware that a taxi into the city takes 15 to 20 min. Public transport is available close by. Also there are no shops or anything close by.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and that is very important for me as a tourist. We stayed in room number 350 and the hotel was very clean and Modern. The cleaners done a good job every day cleaning the room while we were out exploring the city. Bike rentals was a great choice to use from the hotel and also nice bar downstairs. Located in a quiet area where no unexpected sound would wake you up during the night time. Took us 15min to bike to Vondselpark which was a great choice to smoke and enjoy the ride.

The personal is very friendly, the breakfast tasty and the rooms clean, nice and big. Wifi is free, but there is a parking fee between 15 and 20€ per night. The tram station is about 5 minutes away. We needed ca. 40 minutes to the central station.

Very reasonably priced, artistic and contemporary hotel. Rooms are spacious and have air conditioning, and bathrooms have underfloor heating. Bit of a walk from the tram connections to the hotel, but they have a shuttle bus every 20 minutes that you can book a spot on that takes you directly to Dam Square. Restaurant has a nice menu, available on their website.

This hotel is modern and beautiful with wonderful staff. Very comfortable rooms with heated bathroom floors and glass bathroom door ( very chic). The hotel staff was nice enough to make me a smoothie with the frozen fruit that I brought from the grocery store after my personal travel blender suddenly stopped working. The gentleman kindly handed me my smoothie and said, "here you go, ma'am. So you don't waste your money " :) I was really impressed. I would highly recommend this hotel for its service but I will say it is a bit of a ways away from City Center but that could be a good thing because it is quiet outdoors which makes for a peaceful sleep! :) We had just come from Paris and it was the oppositeParis never sleeps so with the windows open in our hotel room THERE, our sleep was disturbed often, but NOT at this hotel. It was pleasant and quiet.

Nice hotel. Friendly service. Was expecting slightly more modern features in the rooms but nice place. Located about 10min away from the airport and a quick 25/30min tram to the city centre. Would stay again for the great price.

This is one of my favourite hotels, anywhere. It's not as convenient to get to from the airport as it used to be. Public bus from the airport and a 15 min walk, or get a taxi. However, there's always a new art or design installation in the lobby. The staff are efficient and polite. The bar, breakfast and dinner selection is also excellent. I like to get the No2 tram into town (half hour ride and I have a transport chip-card which is also good for the bus, recommended). The hotel is also convenient for my office, which is literally over the road! rooms are clean and fairly modern with good wifi. recommended.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the central city. Wonderful hospitality from staff and room was spacious, clean and elegant. Well worth the price. If you're capable of taking public transport, this place is no problem for a tourist like myself.

Amazing breakfast! Rooms are lovely and spacious. It's a 25 minute journey in to the center by tram but it means that it's in a quiet location.

My girlfriend was injured and had to stay in hospital, there was no chance of cancellation or changing the name of second guest; only +1 which would be very expensive.
No cooperation or understanding of problems, very disappointing.
This should be my second stay in Amsterdam, the first one was great but this one only a horror story.
This hotel? Never again I'm sorry.
The only thing what they told me was to contact other ones, the hotel itself don't gives a sh**.response / report this review
