Not very clean. Noiseful on Friday and Saturday evenings. They have loud music in the ground-floor and cellar till 01:00. Not recommended on this price level.

Very dirty and not quiet at all! The heaters were all covered with dust. There were some plastic garbage next to the bed and under the desk. Bathroom was a complete mess. Mirror was covered with some small drops of someone's tooth paste the same with walls next to the sink. There were some old peanuts and dust on the floor. The toilet paper holder was dirty. However, the worst was the shower with all silicone seal and grout completely covered with disgusting mold. I made a complaint at the front desk the very first day. They made a promise they would clean my room but they only did the vacuum cleaning. Very disappointing!

Great rooms with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Located very close to the center of Utrecht, but in a quiet street.

Scary place. The bald dutch garbageman tried to ask me for a date today 24 April 2017. What is going on here! this is not what i payed for. This place really scared me. Martine.

We booked their 'hidden room' which is located 1 minute walk away in one of the secluded but renovated canal cellars.
The staff have been nothing but helpful since we've been here, with one offering us her Apple European charger during our stay because wed forgotten to pack ours.
The room itself is located in the quiet and still very much olden part of town but is a 5 minute walk to all the main shops and train station. At night this means it's super quiet with nothing but the Dom Tower bells to hear.
Breakfast is a MUST at the hotel, with the waiter getting to know you after day one, offering you a coffee the moment you sit down, and regularly checking if it's all okay.
We've stayed in lots of hotels as a couple and as my partner pointed out, even a 5* hotel in the middle of Tower Bridge, London had some down points.
Couldn't recommend the hotel enough.response / report this review -

Left up "do not disturb" all day - maid hung fresh towels, toiletries, etc, in a laundry bag on the door handle, just in case. Pretty cool!

hygiene is a must. cannot have this dirty rooms. I am sorry. big rooms ok, modern. but noisy and dirty. talking with staff will not help. this is not what I had expected from Dutch people. Not done

Very comfortable room with high roof. The high roof gives a nice illusion of living in a mansion. The room is very quite neat and tidy. Its very comfortable and cozy. Did not try the break fast so can't comment. The parking is walking distance from the hotel but the car route is longer so be prepared to drive around a couple of blocks to park the car. The hotel is close to the city center so it is in a prime location where you can return to quickly after a days shopping. There are a lot of eating options also since its close to the city center.
