Good for the price - clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast, 10 mins walk from the train that takes you to the airport within 15 mins, the same to the centre.
The only minus - teeny tiny bed and teeny tiny bathroom, no vanity set, just the basics of basics.
Perfect for one night in Amsterdam though!

Really bad customer service I would never recommend this hotel when you will traveling with your car.
During our stay our car was parked on the hotel protected and fee required parking place but some thief’s where still able to enter it uncovered and broke into our and some other guest cars. The hotel was recognising this on the same night but didn’t informed us and so the car parked there for two days whit an broken window and they don’t car if there drops rain throw the window or something else.
We first recognised the broken window on the departure day and thereon we asked the hotel when this happens and why they didn’t informed us but the only thing what they replied to us was sorry we don’t know and that the management will get in touch with us but this didn’t happen and so I must get again in touch with them and the only thing what they‘re answered was that they are apologising this but can’t do anything for us. I also replied to them that one of the hotel employees told me that this happened not the first time and then I also asked the customer service why they didn’t protect the whole parking spot with cameras so that they avoid this customer complaints but they really don’t care about my thoughts. So all in all I would not recommend this hotel because they really don’t care about the customer needs and that the customer have there a pleasant stay!!

Hotel was alright, the floors didn't feel clean, I don't know if it's because of the material they used for flooring or not. Safe needed to be reseted which means the room wasn't ready for us even though we arrived at 8pm already. Shower drain was really slow. After my shower I realized that water have seeped through the glass door onto the bathroom floor. In short flooding because the drain was so slow.

Comfortable hotel with small rooms and bathrooms, close to airport, parks, the van Gogh museum and well served with public transports. Fair price for the place. Has tea roomkit.

Staff lovely and very helpful. Room smelt if stale smoke which was pretty unpleasant. Also fridge broken and leaked water over the floor so baggage got wet. Room perfectly fine for sleeping in though.

Great location for us.

This hotel is located at the top of Overtooms which leads out of central. En route to central is a few nice cafes and coffee shops as well as Vondelpark

This Bastion is excellent, lovely staff and thee rooms are great. Beds are a little soft for my liking but ultimately you sleep well.

Parking in a private car park is at a charge but your vehicle is safe there

lovely staff for my Xmas eve Xmas day boxing day stay. distance from town was an issue to start but my fault in all honesty. still only ten mins from the center tho. lovely rooms an quiet hotel in general.

Nice hotel, very good for the price paid. Comfortable beds, big enough rooms, parking, safe, attention receptionists. Some not so good points: the sixth floor has no elevator - you can only ride it to the fifth, no double beds in the hotel, only 2x singles, and the sink design makes it impossible to wash your face.
