  Rooms are ok, hotel staff as well. The location is nice and not too far away from the city centre. Room to improve cleanness and restaurant service

  It's winter, and staff refuse to close the front doors. Heating is on, but again the front doors are open. #globalwarmingmuch

  Like others said: they are lucky with the beautiful location. The service and the food is just not good. Sandwich with tuna salad was not served like described in the menu, and was basically plain bread with mayonnaisey tuna spread. Hamburger was not any better than what you'd get in a snack bar. Waiters are young, inexperienced and don't know what to do with complaints ("Sorry I guess?!"). Felt like they were making easy money of tourists.

  Cafe is disgusting, service is extremely slow and stuff is really unfriendly!!

  Lovely location and atmosphere but they only serve frozen or tin food. Only one of the waitresses was reasonably nice. The rest leave a lot to be desired.

  Very good location, with a spectacular view of the water.
  You can discuss the interior in the room, brown and dark. Kind of like what you would expect in and old english B&B. But it's clean and nice.
  But when I came, only 1 lamp out of 3 in the room was working, got that fixed, but still a very dark room. Later I found out that even though there were a boiler and coffee, the etc. there were no cups in the room! And when late, after everyone has gone, I would go to bed I found out that there were no dunets on the beds!!! I had to use the cover blanket for the night!
  A real pitty, they havn't done the last few things to make this a decent hotel!

  Perfect place for a coffee or something cold when you are out biking. Lovely stunning view.

  The mozzarella with whole grain Bread is horrible.
  Bad service and hygiene.
  
  Customer service was better in the Dutch VOC time!!
  
  The location is great.

  Currently called Oude Taveerne, this cute restaurant with good food is a good place for a laid back dinner. Their apple pie is a must try!
