This place a heavenly. There is something about this place that lets you know that you have arrived at an amazing destination, an amazing place in life, a privileged status, a place of peace and serenity. The BOHIOs - the treetop bungalows have spectacular views, comfort, and luxury. You will be sure to replenish your energy to return to life's challenges and feats after a visit here to this secret location.

One of the jewels of Central America. The best place in Nicaragua. Come to relax and get pampered by the great staff.

This is a five star resort! Service and food is excellent. Staff is warm and hospitable. There are a myriad of activities to enjoy: spa, bicycling, yoga, hiking, archery, golf, tennis, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, swimming and relaxing !

What an amazing experience! If you are looking to "treat yourself", feel pampered, and relax - Mukul is the place to be! The service is excellent and the property is gorgeous! From a private beach, to coffee & tea served in bed, beautiful pools, yoga, an incredible spa and wonderful food - we had a blast! The staff was accommodating and so helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped us organize a day trip to an island (although their feedback is that you don't want to leave - which is true!) but gave us the opportunity to explore Nicaragua. Our stay was wonderful! Looking forward to going back in the future!

Beautiful landscaping. Excellent craftsmanship. Not quite up to standards as far as service goes, but the resort just became an Aubergine property and I'm sure they will deal with the shortcommings

Was lucky enough to stay in a Bohio, which was luxurious and beautiful.

Mukul is a beautiful top of the line Resort but they have serious communication problems internally.

I made two different reservations for my clients, one for dinner at La Terraza restaurant and the other for playing Golf both clients had to wait at the gate because they were not on the list to get in.

As everybody knows, first impressions are very important and make clients (with reservations) wait at the gate for more than 30 minutes is ridiculous and a shame to the whole Resort.

The Grounds of this property are breath taking but if they are going to claim to be a 5 star resort and charge the outrageous prices they charge they better improve their culinary arts as well as their communication.

The food is the same price as a 5 star American restaurant but the taste and quality of the food is below average. They try to jazz up the food yet they don't even know what ingredients are in their own dessert.

They greatly over charge on room service and its sub par. Also, the english of the employees is very poor compared to 5 star Mexican and Costa RicanResorts and its not an excuse for a resort that is charging $1000/night+

The Spa was a half attempt at a massage. They give the massages in a very beautiful Villa with a private pool out back but when they turned us loose in the private pool area they walked out on us as we were naked in the pool twice. This is unacceptable in an area that is deemed as "private."

I would grade the resort as follows:

    Property- 5 stars
    Service- 4 Stars
    Spa- 3 Stars
    Food- 2.5 Stars
    Communication- 2 Stars

To sum it all up the property is breath taking but be prepared to over pay for food that is sub par. Unfortunately this is one of the only 5 star options in Nica and the view is worth the money but the food and lack of communication is not.
