Nice quiet place. Provisioning is a long bus ride. There is fuel here. Enter the estuary at slack high tide to avoid strong tidal currents.

Everything about this resort is luxury, the rooms, the food, the service. But for the top dollar you pay here, you can get better service in another top resort in Nicaragua. Not for the average Nicaraguan. Good place to hang out for wealthy international tourists that love fishing

This is a very pleasant place. We sailed in after a trip down from Mexico. The GPS points are spot on and we found the channel very easy to navigate with a draft of 6 feet. There can be quite a tidal current so just take your time. The channel is very well marked, so we found it easy to get in and out.

The staff is very helpful and omnipresent. You don't really need to ask they will usually be around if you want help.

The facilities are right sized. Small enough to be intimate but large enough to have adequate facilities. There is a fuel dock which we did not try. The pool area is clean and inviting. There is also another pool just a short walk away at the beach.

The trees are rich and green with lots of parrots and lizards etc.

My wife and I were quite pleased with the quality of the restaurant. Very imaginative and tasty meals, albeit a little on the expensive side.

We were there in June so actually we are still here. There is almost daily rain but usually just at night and helps to cool things down.

We are quite happy and will certainly return.

Only real negative is a fairly long ride to stores, about $50 for a round trip.

We spent a day with a guided car tour arranged by the resort and were quite pleased

This is a beautuful place, where you can do many things: go fishing, play tennis, swiming, take a horse back riding, or a boat trip by the mangroves, kayaking or simply stay at your suit resting of a bored routine of hard work.
