Excellent place! The room is clean, the breakfast in the morning is local and typical for Nicaragua. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed there during the strike and debate with the government and in this difficult moment, the staff remained calm and great at guiding us. We felt very safe there. Also the bathrooms were very clean and functioned really well as they have a water tank extra. In the morning when the water pressure goes down, the staff stars the extra water tank to ensure good pressure to allow the showers to work well. A commodity that I haven't seen in other hostels.

Hostal El Momento is a nice and quiet place. The rooms are nice and clean with good ventilation and has a safe. The dorm i slept in had good beds, but the ventilation could be better. The outside areas look really nice and you have a smoking area. Free and simple breakfast with good service. If you planning a trip to the lagoon, "las islas" or the volcano just ask fir it in the recption. Showers and toilets could be better, but i do not complain.
There is a bar to buy refreshments and sofas and hammocks to relax in.
Nicaragua TripAdvisor winner of 2013. Maybe time for a samll update?

Fantastic location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, free breakfast and a beautiful courtyard garden make this hostel a no brainer to stay at if you visit Granada. It's located right by the main square and the staff can set up transport and tours to the airport and all local attractions.

This hostel was very pleasant , cute, clean (appreciated attention to keep bed bugs away), well located and have beautiful areas for chill. The food is so good and the breakfast is included ! Staff is really helpful and friendly and you can easilly book different activities. We did the tour boat of las isletas and we absolutely recommand it ! It was amazing thank you guys !

The hostel is very pretty with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff is friendly and very helpful providing information for going around. Private rooms are simple but comfortable with a safe. Breakfast cost only 1USD extra. Only downside would mosquitos in the room and the garden.

I am actually still staying here and just booked another night. This hostel is so pretty and very comfortable. The beds are great and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Free WiFi is pretty decent for Nica. The staff are amazing here and super helpful.
The location is perfectclose to the market and cathedrals. One of my favorite hostels so far 😁

Great hostel close to the city centre. Nice outdoor shared space, good meals & well ventilated dorms. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating. The hostel also assists in booking tours around the Granada area.

Nice place. Really tidy. You can tell it is being ran by a professinal crew. Lots of showers and toilets. Not really cheap but allright.

They create a very cozy atmosphere with there big sofas and the patio with banana trees. Rooms are dark and somewhat hot. The ladies who run the hostel are friendly and very professional. Breakfast (Nicaraguan or continental) is definitely worth the $1. A must at Granada.

Great by nica standards! Breakfast was delicious, good location and clean comfortable beds. Don't book tours through them though, save your pennies and go to the cafe strip. If you time it right you can get good last minute discounts

Great hostel. Lovely staff really prepared to go out of their way for you. Nice and clean, stayed in largest dorm which was plenty spacious. Small kitchen but stocked relatively well. Good location. Good for older travellers, not a party hostel but places to socialise with other guests of you want that, but also places to sit and chill on your own if you want. Bar with reasonable prices.

Good standard hostel. The water pressure is only good between certain times (not early morning). Breakfast is very basic but good for $1 if you're looking to cut back costs.

Great location, comfortable beds, nice common area with bar and restaurant. Rooms were hot with only fans, and shared bathrooms were not the cleanest.
