Nice camp, good facilities. Decent restaurant. Like all NWR camps however it would need a bit of friendlier staff and a bit of better training to solve some flaws in service

Good public campsite in front of the waterberg. Water and electricity available. Great for hiking around the area. Hiking on top of the waterberg is a must. But only for hikers in good conditions. Not recommended for small kids. Watch out baboons. During the day they are looking for food in garbage cans on the campsite. Also warthogs come over. Both are not agressive, but you should keep an eye on your belongings.

The security was funny but at the reception it wasn't the best atmosphere, they didn't had Wi-Fi even if it was written that it has. The shop didn't had meat to sell and we couldn't buy meat in the restaurant.

Potential für mehr aber leider eine Enttäuschung. Tolle Lage – renovierungsbedürftige Bungalows. Miserabelste Unterkunft. Die Wände vergilbt, die Einrichtung uralt, lieblos und abgewetzt. Dreckige Fenster, Stockflecken in den Bädern, so etwas habe ich noch nie gesehen. Viele Paviane die bei den Bungalows vorbeiziehen Türen und Fenster immer schließen. Das einzige was gut war ist das Frühstücksbuffet. Liegt aber in einer schönen Lage. Die Natur dort ist natürlich toll . Nie wieder!
Wir buchten die Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp um den Cheetah Conservation Fund zu besuchen.
Unser Tipp wenn Sie einen Zwischenstopp einlegen wollen um den CCF zu besuchen empfehlen wir Ihnen die Lodge: Aloegrove Safari Lodge / ABSOLUTE TOP EMPFEHLUNG.

Gute Lage zum Erkunden des Waterberg NP. Von hier Zugang zum Deutschen Friedhof der Waterberg-Schlacht. Diverse mehrstündige Hikes auf den Waterberg starten von hier. Essen im netten nostalgischen (alte Polizeistation) Restaurant gut. Double Rooms eher dunkel und nicht so schön eingerichtet

Nice Camp. Many warthogs, mongooses and small antelopes roaming around the camp. For those at the camping site, be careful with baboons. They are all over the camp so don't leave food lying around.
