If you are looking for a neat, safe and comfy place to stay at, then Out of Africa Otjiwarongo is what you are looking for. The owners is friendly and helpful and really polite. I felt safe and really enjoyed the stay there. I recommend it highly.

Excellent Guesthouse, very clean rooms and friendly staff. We had a late arrival due to car problems and the owner opened for us late at night.
The office staff was very helpful solving our car problems the next morning.

Please reconsider sleeping here for any amount of time. I have stayed in an abundance of places, as I'm a sales representative, some not quite up to standard, however, i have never once felt the need to write an actual review. This "guest house", was by far one of the poorest establishments i have come across. I will just name some of the issues I had. The room for N$ 550.00 an evening single person, was overall dirty, shower was broken, spraying water in all directions, dousing me early morning, the toilet wasn't scrubbed properly, a dark ages air-conditioner, that hardly cooled the room, no one at the reception desk despite asking what time check in is and being told 24 hours, (the security guard had to let me in), he was by far the best/only service i had. I could name several other problems but this review is getting too long. Please do not stay here unless you absolutely have to.

Very bad and unpleasant. Their rooms are filthy. They only straighten-up the bed linen. They don't clean the bathroom. Whatever dirt you leave while going out is what you will find on coming back more especially, in the shower, washing basin and the toilet seat. Found the room dirty and I forwarded my concerns and disappointment to the management but still even after going through that the room was still as filthy. And to add to the disappointment they just sprayed the room with some air-freshner which does not help because the dirt is still there. They do not change towels even when you indicate a need for change. And the towels are too old, they have been used for too long. Their menu is even more terrible. It's as if their ''cheff'' is learning how to cook. I'm no master cheff but I can cook way much better food than this junk they serve here.
