Although a bit out of the way, the slow and cautious drive on the gravel road is well worth the patience. After parking our vehicle at the bottom of the hill, we were driven up to the reception. Set up on the peak, the views of the surrounding landscape are breathtakingly beautiful.
We enjoyed an exquisite and very well-priced meal at the restaurant, with very attentive staff. For the remainder of the day, we made use of the indoor pool and sauna facilities in the wellness centre. Exceptionally beautiful and relaxing, it is well worth the trip and the price. If you'd like to enjoy a massage treatment while there, make sure to book in advance.response / report this review -

Awesome place if you are looking for a peaceful and luxurious accomodation in complete wildernessjust to get to the lodge it's a safari on its own!

During the 3 hours game drive we saw : kudus, springboks, oryx, duikers, ostriches, waterbucks, black and blue wildebeests, mountain and plain zebras, lots of giraffes and 3 white rhinos. Really not bad for a Game Reserve so close to Windhoek. At the end we had drinks and some snacks for the sundowner. Game drive price was 375 NAD pp.
