The garden is made out of 7 sections including desert house where you find indigenous plants found in Namibia.
They have a gene bank that store seeds that can be used to regrow crops and as sold to local farmers.
They have a reference library open to the public.

The Aloe trail is very dangerous. Many tourists have been attacked at knife point and robbed of all their belongings.

Nice place, many different plants, trees and flowers, they are discriped, labeled. Nice people here, guides are possible, noticed some school classes where here. This is botanical garden, happy after disapointment in Nairobi. Wish I could come back during raining season.

The walk itself isn't that bad, has some great look-out spots, however I found it to be rather unsafe.

Well laid out garden but not worth a visit. Unfortunately most of the staff members' knowledge is limited. One lady was able to explain what problems had been encountered with the garden.
